Dr. A.R. Santosh Namboodiripad retired as Deputy Chief Physician, worked nearly for three decades at Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala, the renowned Ayurvedic Charitable Institution. He had a rare fortune to associate with Padmabhushan Dr. P.K. Varier for these years. Dr. Santosh has worked as head in different sections of Arya Vaidya Sala and is basically a general physician.
