A rare photograph of the Chittoor Mana family, preserving generations of history beneath the roof of the ancestral Mana.

Nestled within Kerala's cultural heartland, Chittoor Mana stood as more than a family home.

It was a living institution where spirituality guided daily life, traditions were preserved with devotion, and knowledge was passed carefully from one generation to the next.

Within these walls, values of compassion, discipline and service shaped the identity of the family and laid the foundation for a legacy that continues through Niramayam today.

The Head of Chittoor Mana

Sri Sankaran Namboothiripad, affectionately remembered as Swamiyar, stood as the head of Chittoor Mana and the guiding force behind its enduring legacy. Guided by wisdom and spiritual purpose, he dedicated his life to safeguarding the prosperity, prestige and dharma of the family for generations to come.

His contributions extended far beyond the Mana itself, including his pivotal role in the development of the renowned Cherpu Bhagavathy Temple and several other sacred institutions associated with the family. Every tradition preserved within these walls today carries the imprint of his devotion.
