Thrissur is often called the cultural capital of Kerala, and its Ayurvedic tradition is among the oldest in the state. Niramayam continues that tradition from Chittoor Mana in Cherpu, where the family has practised medicine for generations.

A hospital, not a spa
Every stay begins with a consultation by an Ayurveda physician, who prescribes the therapies, medicines and diet. Doctors review progress during the stay, and therapists work from that prescription.
Getting here
Cherpu is close to Thrissur town. Cochin International Airport is about 65 km away, and we can help arrange airport and railway transfers.
Frequently asked questions
It is a physician-led Ayurveda hospital. Treatment is prescribed and supervised by doctors; the heritage house is the setting, not the product.
Medical note. Ayurvedic treatment at Niramayam is prescribed individually after an in-person assessment by a registered Ayurveda physician. Nothing on this page is a diagnosis or a promise of outcome, and no existing medication should be stopped or altered without the guidance of your treating doctor.
